Quad State Pics and Results.

Marshall took first in 3A and second place overall.  Lincoln was the sweepstakes winner and they were fantastic!

This has been one of the most talented bands we've ever had.  The music is unforgettable and I can't remember when we've had a group that was so focused on details.   I think we could make a training video on just their feet!

The percussion and pit finally got their due, the color guard has come light years, and the horns and winds have never sounded better. As Mr. Ivers said, this is a show that will be remembered for a long time to come.

Thanks to all of the band members and their families for one of the best years we've ever had!

PICS AND RESULTS ARE COMING!!!

ATTENTION EVERYONE!

I need photos from today's competition. Specifically, I would like wide shots of the whole band on the field. I especially want shots when the band is not moving, like the moment before the band begins the show, or those short moments as they transition to the next "movement."

The ending, of course, is the best shot of all, but you'll have to be prepared to shoot over the crowd as they give the band a standing ovation!

Check out the photos of Lalo Davila's percussion clinic.
